In
addition to all the signs that tell us what we're not allowed to do, I
thought it would be nice to let people know that they were permitted
to do.
To be honest I'm not much of a whistler, but, aside from the long slow whistle mechanics let out when you're in for a nasty bill, most people whistle when they're cheerful, so I decided "whistling" was the go. I think the sign is also useful for people who are permanently cranky. It serves as a warning to them; "Take care Mr. Cranky, cheerful whistling is allowed." |
